CLK, this would be great if the Dukes can pull this off.

Definately a good thing if it happens. Any idea of where these would be played?

The article says they would be played in Indianapolis. It seems like just a rescheduling of the Indianapolis MTE. Unfortunately Cincinnati doesn't have openings around then so Southern Illinois would be subbed for them. Obviously I'd much prefer a game with Cincinnati to see where we stack up, but any games are better than none. Two weeks without any action going into a tough game at Richmond and not meeting the NCAA's recommended (not mandatory) number of non-conference games would be terrible.

Loyola is a very good team, probably as good as UC.

Indiana would be better.

so everyone is fine with putting the A10 matchups at risk?

I think the reality is if you want to compete you have to play. 2 weeks off won't be good going to Richmond.

IDK, when you see all these teams cancelling or postponing games, makes me wonder why are they even trying, no one is making money, and everyone can come back in 2021-22. Its like walking thru the woods, at night, blindfolded, and trying to not bump into a tree.

Right you are Towson. It stinks. I wonder how the players feel but I would bet they want to play. There is almost no way around it. U test negative one day maybe ur positive the next. Its like a dog chasin its tail.

I can't understand why they don't just slow things down. The vaccines are here. As Pitino has suggested, what's wrong with May Madness? By Late March, early April, you could have fans in the stands, and by May, you could pretty much run a normal postseason.

Villanova even moreso. Unfortunately, schools of that level have nothing to gain by playing the likes of Duquesne.

Speaking of adding games, we probably won't be going to any this year. I received a call today from the athletic office regarding my season ticket (2) downpayment and was told I could either get my deposit refunded or move my money to next year. I moved it to next year.

Loyola-Chicago and Southern Illinois play in the same conference and are already scheduled for a back-to-back at the end of the season in late February. Are they really going to bus to Indianapolis to play Duquesne? This story needs a bit more reporting.
