Looks like Daily will not play according to a tweet I saw. The Dukes were kicked in the butt early with Covid, but now we can see them a lot stronger and in much better condition. I can see this team getting on a roll and finishing very strong, and who know this could still be the year. Go Dukes!

Now we're doing the butt kicking. Even if he does play, we totally shut him down last year. Last game was fun and this one should be too. Then we'll carry some real momentum into the biggest game in quite some time (maybe since the A-10 final in 2009?). Even if it's not the typical Dayton team, beat them and we'll really be off and running.

This will be a good game to test the maturity of our still young team. We are clearly the more talented team. Our strengths matchup with their weaknesses. They are an even younger team than we are. They might be without their best player. By all accounts we should win this one easily. If the youngsters get cocky from the last game and think they can just cruise through this one, they could be trouble though. St. Joe's is terrible defensively, but they can definitely score the ball and they like to run. With Dambrot on the sidelines and the seniors between the lines I think the freshmen will come out battling. It might not be a blowout, but I don't think the game will ever be in doubt. Dukes 80 Hawks 68.

Sincere probably had a lot to do with Daly's play last year.

Dukes looking very good again. I get that fordham and St Joe's are the dregs of the conference but they have blown the doors off them both. Keep it up in the second half and carry the momentum into the Dayton game and open the Cooper in style.

I am really impressed with our "Freshomores" (they are no longer freshmen)..It is great watching these guys develop. Acuff, Harris, Okani and Bekelja all played well. Baker is a special talent, but has to learn to keep his emotions in check and his mouth shut.

Weathers played in absolute beast mode tonight, Hughes another really strong game. Love these guys, Both of them are are displaying the unselfish senior leadership we need.
