    April fools

    Back in the day, the school newspaper printed a story about a 7’4 “ recruit from China. I fell for it.  Anybody remember?  My point, if any, is that I read this board for six months and nothing happens ; now, we’re signing a kid a day, or so it seems.   April fools?

    HaHa - yes it was in the Daily Nancy.  What an irreverent, but really funny,  issue of the Duke.

    My April Fools issue -- which earned me a serious reprimand from AD Red Manning -- allgedly had him leaving DU to coach Pitt and several Dukes assistants getting sloshed while discussing it, among other things (may have implied a relationship with him and Dean of Students Marian "Hurtz" Hurst as well).
