Top Transfers Article

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/insider/story/_/id/30820857/college-basketball-transfer-rankings-2021-22

This is a good guide for those overwhelmed by the large numbers of the portal but interested in knowing where the best transfers are heading. It does not look like they are updating it so it may be obsolete in a week or 2.

The A-10 is well represented in the outgoing transfer department with 8 total players headed for greener pastures including 2 of the top ten rated guys in Kellen Grady & Tre Mitchell.

On the flipside, Dayton is the only A-10 team that has snagged one of these big fish with #47 Toumani Camara from UGA.

Marcus falls about where I would expect him to. I find it interesting that neither Michael Weathers nor Sin nor Rebraca made so much as the "next in line" list.

Is it a surprise & perhaps a hopeful sign that neither Rebraca nor Groce made this list?

I realize that Rebeca has turned into a serious longshot at this point but, attention from bigger-time schools does not always translate into legit offers & signings. While Filip should definitely be DU's 1st choice among the possibilities mentioned, he might only be Iowa's 2nd or 3rd target at his position.

Does anyone have an update on Titus Wright from WMU?

Am I a jerk for being happy that Pedro Castro isn't on this list?

Re: Top Transfers Article

The A10 was indeed well represented.  In another article dated March 25 from Kentucky Sports Radio, out of the top players available early on - the following were rated:

Kellen Grady - #4
Trey Mitchell - #5
Fatts Russell - #7

Re: Top Transfers Article

Here is this week's update on the original article:

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/insider/story/_/id/30820857/college-basketball-transfer-rankings-2021-22

The A-10 has even more players on the way out than they did before but still only 1 coming into the conference with Camara at #52 heading to Dayton. Tough beat for St. Joe's to lose #100.

I want to see the Dukes chase 2x NAIA All-American EJ Onu from Shawnee State in Ohio. He has declared for the draft but has also announced that he is looking at D-1 transfer opportunities near his current school should the draft not go his way. He is not to be found on any scouting service's Top100 draft prospects & he isn't on the transfer list above.

He's a 6'11" C/PF with 3 straight Defensive Player of the Year Awards & the 2021 NAIA national championship on his resume.

#98, Collin Smith also seems like a jackpot for a mid-major team.
