Offline The truth is that nobody understands the League with all the changes. The Dukes are really going to make this projection look foolish. Offline I hope you are right. I agree with his first 3. Time will tell… Go Dukes. Offline Yuri Collins been at SLU since 2006. Offline Bulletin board material for the team as a whole & Okani, JJ, & Ayers in particular. Offline Bulletin board material for the team as a whole & Okani, JJ, & Ayers in particular. I agree. The Dukes are going to surprise this League in a vicious way in how good they are. Just a reminder: Offline Possible brand opportunity for the Dukes if they can win. Offline Coach Dambrot has over 400 wins. He seems very pleased with the talent level of his team. Unless a BSer the Dukes should surprise the A10. This could be a fun year as a Dukes fan. Offline Kobe Elvis is on the all name team for sure Phil and agree with Ironduke81 on Coach D.I am more optimistic than ever under Coach D and I don't think he's BS on how he views his talent amount and level. This will be about them playing as a team and keeping most of them happy and winning basketball goes a long way in that regard Offline The truth is that nobody understands the League with all the changes. The Dukes are really going to make this projection look foolish. It's a fool's errand to predict this season with so many changes. I guess the lad (Mr. Rothstein) needs a job. Offline Richmond's best players are soooo old. Koureissi turned 22 last month, Matt Grace back in February, & Burton will this February. On Wednesday, Gilyard will be 23. Cayo & Sherod will be 24 in October; Golden in January. They don't list a birth date for Gustafson but he was playing U-20 FIBA for Finland way back in 2018. They also have 2 other guys listed as grad students that have not played much. Last edited by phil95 (7/12/2021 6:15 pm) Offline Phil living down in Virginia it’s all about VCU. Richmond is the step child. Sounds familiar PITT VS DUQUESNE. RICHMOND very fortunate to have the Robins family. Big Pharma co. Sponsor Civil War museum in Richmond. Beautiful university grounds. VCU reminds me of Pitt & Cincinnati campus. Not attractive but great medical centers. A group of Spider alumni want Coach Mooney out. They are clueless. This guy can coach. As a long time Duquesne fan firing John Carrolll thank you Mosisie! Oh yeah he subsequently coached the Celtics. Yes Ron Everhart. What can I say. It’s Duquesne. I support Coach Dambrot. Go Dukes. Offline I like Rothstein, but he has no business giving a conference preview when he's tweeting a thousand times a day and mostly follows the P-5 conferences. He plays to his followers which is largely made up of Dayton, USL, Bonnie, Richmond, URI, VCU, and St. Joe's followers when it comes to the A-10. Offline Here’s a thought on Maceo. He has played the 3 for us in his time during the past two years. I wonder If he might play the two guard on this team. Could make the team better. I look for Okani to be the team’s breakout player. If Hima is good, this team rises.
CURRENT RECORD 9 - 14 (4-6 in the A-10)

"Feisty underdog Dukes led by(fill in name or names)
beat supposedly superior talented teams"
Buy a product from whoever that never quits and will
best the supposedly superior competition.
Have picture of the team surrounding the product.

They also have 3 very nice recruits coming in. I wonder why they are not in any of the pre-season Top 25 polls?
If Mooney can't make some serious noise with that amount of talent, experience, & time playing together, UR really should consider firing him. The portal did no damage to this crew.

Re: Rothstein A10 Projections
Dukes fans are at bottom of his list to suck up to. All about the tweets and appeasing his followers. It's not like anybody is going to question his picks when it's all said and done. That will be long forgotten between the thousands of tweets between now and March. This will the year of the Dukes. All four transfers will shine barring injury, and Okhani will be a BEAST. Acuff, Spears, and JJ will be formidable. Think Maceo and even more so Hima could be the catalysts that get us over the top finally. Just a gut feeling on those two.
