Offline Good story by Mike White about the Davis and his unusual career. He did say that leaving Duquesne early to sign with the Condors was a bad decision. The Dukes had another strong team returning and Davis would have been the star player on a highly ranked, NCAA Tournament team. I suppose his draft status would have improved and could have paid him a much better bonus with the two leagues still competing for talent.
CURRENT RECORD 9 - 14 (4-6 in the A-10)
Re: PG Interview With Mickey Davis
I recall watching him playing the point as a 6’7” forward for the Bucks in the NBA Finals against the Celtics. He played very well in that role; and helped the Bucks get to Game 7 in the finals. He had a pretty nice group to work with in Kareem, an aging Oscar and Bobby Dandridge.
