What's Going on with Soccer

Hey everyone I am planning to get up to Rooney for a soccer game soon but any updates on men and women's soccer? Just checking in and we haven't had a post in awhile

Re: What's Going on with Soccer

The men seem to be much approved with freshman Maxi Hopfer from Austria leading the way with 5 goals and 3 assists.  The top three scorers are all freshman.    They are 5-3. The last match was a tough 1-0 loss at Michigan State in a close match. They are 1-0 in the A10 beating GW.  The offense is much improved over recent years. Have to see if that stays in place for the A10 season

The women are having a tougher go at it 2-4-1 and 0-1 in the A10 losing a 2-1 in OT to UMass.  Freshman Emma Bundy leads the way with 4 goals and one assist.

And just like that the women beat A19 favorite SLU 3-1 at home.  Another goal for freshman Emma Bundy.
