Offline Had a chance to sit down with Jim Ferry today, and here's the recap. Offline Stephen thanks for the link and the story. Great job. Please let us know if you hear anything tomorrow on Micah. Also do you know what the eligibility issue is with Robinson, and if JF expects to get a decision on this before the season starts? Offline The NCAA is run by a bunch of no-brainers. To my thinking, Micah's waiver approval should've been approved as quickly as it hit the desktop because it's that obvious. Yet these bozo's at the NCAA are treating it like like it's written in rare Mesopotamian script. In the meantime, the kid from Rutger's gets a waiver to play at Pitt immediately. And if memory serves me correctly, isn't he the second player in something like three years to get a waiver to immediately play at Pitt with hardly any wait time from the NCAA? Yeah, the kid who transferred when his dad got fired. Actually, I have no problem with those waivers as they both made sense. This one makes sense too, so I don't see why they are dragging it out. Offline I'm in the camp that would rather see him redshirt, but wouldn't object to him playing this year. The CBB writers were stunned and almost up in arms that Josh Smith just got cleared to play at G'Town after transferring from UCLA. No real hardship mediacal or family, is from Seattle area so not close to home and they let him play right away. Offline Stephen thanks for the link and the story. Great job. Ferry didn't provide any details about Robinson's status but, like with Mason, he's hoping he gets an answer before the end of next week. P-G: Ferry calls Micah Mason eligibility question a "no-brainer"
Top item, of course, is that Ferry hopes to get the NCAA's ruling on Mason by the end of next week and thinks Mason should be granted the waiver this fall.
