With such a new team, I am going to remain optimistic.

With so many unknowns about this year's team I've been putting off making my picks searching for more information. In reality we won't really know what kind of team we have until around the middle of January. Coincidentally that's when the toughest stretch of games starts. I'm not sure whether midnight on the 8th was last night or tonight; so hopefully I'm still eligible to experience none of what McKeesport has to offer. Moreso hopefully the Dukes exceed my expectations.

Non-conference 7-6
Atlantic 10 8-10
A-10 Tournament 0-1 70 points
15-17 overall

A lot optimistic people on this board, which is fine. As a Dukes fan I do not know what creates such optimism. I can’t even venture a guess with no one over 6’7 with any experience. A whole new team. I could not even come up with a win total. All I can do is hope for the best in year 5 of the Dambrot years.

I'm going with 9-4 OOC and 10-8 Conf. Two wins in tourney. Young team, plus or minus here is highly possible.

That is definitely not necessary. I’m sorry I was correct. And if they win the over comes through.

But if you want donate the $100 to the Duquesne Bowling team. They are nationally ranked and actually win. If it is a push, I’ll match donate $100 as well.

I just checked the bowling ranking. They are ranked 4 in the NCAA.

I donated as requested. (Bowling is ranked #4 per NCAA website.) I didn't explain why to them--that I predicted 22 wins this year, that on top of predicting 19 wins in JF's last year. I would rather they think it was because of their achievements than my stupidity.
