Does anybody have any fresh intel? Not hearing much but with all of the player movement annually, I think coaches want to keep a certain amount of roster flexibility in order to take advantage of transfer options. For a program like Duquesne it may be the more reliable road to success. Most of the High School signees available to Duquesne are players with weaknesses in their game, and many are longshots to contribute at this level. The risk-level is quite high on these guys as opposed to recruiting established college players with a track record against college competition. You just have less margin for error on college players. As a result, marginal D-1 players may not see the demand for their services that they expected. Maybe we have a kid sign on Saturday after our 20 point win and full house are too much for him to turn away from.
