Eric James (6’6 SF, Westerville Central/2014):
Committed to Duquesne, James is an explosive athlete that has improved tremendously over the last few months. A smooth jump shooter, James is a matchup nightmare given his combination of size, quickness and leaping ability. James committed to Duquesne after a successful summer playing with the top program in Ohio, All-Ohio Red. During the AAU season, James primarily was used as a spark plug off the bench, resuming a role similar to the way Scott Brooks used James Harden in Oklahoma City. The one big criticism James has received over the last few months is his lack of aggressiveness at times, but it is easy to see that the Westerville Central senior has started to silence his critics after an explosive showing at the City Series.
