This game is also televised. I hope we are competitive at worst and win at best. Will be interested to see if the students come out.

Dayton is very young, but has  higher rated players; deeper, stronger, etc. better pedigree and has beaten, Kansas and VA Tech.  To qualify those "big" wins keep in mind that Kansas is nowhere near the team they were in previous years.  I've seen Kansas twice and its surprising how little paint-presence they possess this year.  Maybe the "pay for play" scandal has made it more difficult to Bill Self to drop big sums of cash in the laps of recruits.  They really have no inside game, so like many lower-rated teams they live and die by the three.  Consequently, the Dayton win is a probably a bit over-rated.  Virginia Tech is a seven-loss team, and has lost to every decent team they've played with the exception of Maryland who is really down this season, and St. Bonaventure who must have played its worst game in several years.  So I think the Dukes will come out and play hard, and make it an interesting game; but as we have seen, but it remains to be seen when they learn to close out games.

Bonnie’s won that one by 20; but the better A-10 game last night was Davidson winning at Richmond, 87-84!  After a so-so start Davidson is rolling! Great coaching and recruiting to a system seems to work well for Davidson.  That’s why I sung the praises of Ryan Odom several years ago at UMBC.  He has a system and gets guys who can play it.  He is now working at Utah State; so he’s already moved up; but who knows; before he beat UVA in the NCAA he might have listened if Duquesne through a bunch of money and promises at him at UMBC.

I don;t see this on ESPN+. Where is it?

They are so much better than us, its like college v high school.

Dayton is a big time program. Looks like a total mismatch.
Maybe a better second half.

Deron Holmes !!!!!! Only good thing about him is that he will be in the NBA next year.

Sitting here at game… More Dayton folks than DU. Maybe one day we will have a coach who can recruit really good players who can win games.

Announcer just says Dayton 6’8”, 9”, 10” on the court at same time.   I got more depressed.
