CLASS 4A1. Lincoln Park (19-6) — With a run of five consecutive WPIAL championship appearances and three titles in four years, the Leopards have cemented their reputation as one of the WPIAL’s premier programs under coach Mike Bariski. Lincoln Park defeated North Catholic in the 2021 championship game in its debut season in Class 4A, and the Leopards are loaded again this year. All-section guard-forward and Duquesne recruit L.A. Pratt (13.9 ppg) returns to lead this year’s unit along with stellar sophomore Brandin Cummings. Lincoln Park also added another all-section pick to round out the lineup in Aliquippa transfer DeAndre Moye (14 ppg). Last edited by townsonkid (12/07/2021 11:39 am) Has anyone been following Pratt's progress? first 2 games he had a lot of points. Havent checked back since. Last edited by townsonkid (1/03/2022 9:46 am) According to Mike White they had a couple canceled due to Covid. Thanks guys. I saw Pratt was averaging 18.4 ppg. His team lost again to Quaker Valley. Last edited by townsonkid (1/26/2022 12:06 pm) Pratt is averaging 15.5. Lincoln Park lost to Quaker Valley today in the Playoffs. Thiero had 25 points and Jeff Capel was there to talk to him. I paid up & started following Pratt, Rozier, & their respective teams on MaxPreps.
Lincoln is really bad about posting their box scores & such but there is some info to be had.
Rozier's team has some really nice talent in addition him. He doesn't make the highlights as much lately when compared to others on his team.

Is DU after either of these QV players?....Quaker Valley has the terrific tandem of 6-foot-5 senior forward Markus Frank and 6-6 senior guard Adou Thiero. Frank is averaging 28 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.5 steals. He makes a living at drives and finishes around the rim, shooting a phenomenal 70% from the field.Thiero is averaging 23.2 points, 8.7 rebounds an d 4.3 steals. He is shooting 54% from the field. •

Pratt only had 5 points on 2-14 shooting. Scholarships are extremely valuable for a team like Duquesne that is void of talent. I really hope this is not another recruiting miss.
