The thought of Grant, Brewer, & Clark in the starting lineup makes me very nervous. This creates a very small lineup while forcing Easley to once again play the 4 & leaving Tre Williams without another proper big to work with.

I expect we'll see a bunch of different rotations and with all the front court depth we'll see bigger line-ups throughout the season.  Just impossible to know at this point which/if any of the big freshman can contribute regularly.  That line-up posited by the reporter is based solely on experience.  I can easily see Rotroff, Williams and Easley out there at the same time now that we have 3 or 4 "big" options behind the them.

I still believe that the young big talent must be served. If Williams and Easley play 25-30 minutes a game, we will be very average at best.

In regard to Kevin Easley at the #4 spot; I think he learned something about being successful in the A-10 after Tre Williams went down with the injury.  Kevin was basically functioning as a #5 for the Dukes and I thought he showed that he can win inside perhaps as a 4-man in this league.  With his size and strength he can rebound and defend as a 4 and also hit a variety of jumpers from the foul-line extended, as well as in the paint and possibly pull his defender out the corner.  This is most likely his best position both for the team and for Kevin to grow as a player as opposed to trolling along the 3-point arc for shots.  Assuming the guard play has been upgraded this season, Kevin doesn't need to be playing as a wing.
  
In regard to Rotroff, I hope against all good sense that he can contribute at least in small doses.  I don't think his body will ever allow him to play anything but short stretches.  He hasn't shown that he can physically keep up with the the speed of the game , probably why he gets hurt every year; but this is the time of year for optimism.  I think one would be considered an optimist to predict Rotroff will play at a high level for significant minutes based on the last 4-5 years; however, I wish him nothing but the best.
