We'll find out in a few hrs. Would really be impressed with a win tonight, followed by the ladies tomorrow, and top it off with a Steelers W Sunday vs Bungals. Colgate likes to share the ball they're averaging over 20 assists a game. they also like to hoist the 3. I'm sure our staff has a game plan and I'm expecting a real slobberknocker. This game being played in Akron is a total joke for so many reasons. Most importantly the home fans can’t get there, they probably don’t have the ability to stream the game, and a college team playing in a high school gym. I just don’t get it. This may be KD's best team in his tenure with overall talent and depth level. Of course staying healthy is critical. Very happy for Rot Roh as well, what an essential piece and contributor. Also glad to see Trey play a critical role in this win. Our guards are the real deal...Dae Dae, Brewer, Clark, Rozier. We now move the ball unlike last year. Starting to get really excited about where this team can end up if we stay focused and healthy. Top notch win against a Colgate team that didn’t quit. This data does not include tonights game, but still exciting! Coach D's quick thoughts Gents, this was my 3rd trip to Akron for Dukes game and by far this was the best atmosphere. The crowd was very engaged and surprisingly Colgate had a contingent of fans. Dukes response to the comeback and the injury to Reece really commendable. The game definitely changed with his injury. Dukes need to have one of their bigs or a poor foul shooter inbound the ball. Because of Brewers size he would be easy to trap but by far either he, Dae Dae or Hornsky need to be your foul shooters.

With no Gunn or Easley, the Dukes were short in the the front court. When Reece went down with an ankle injury early in the 2nd half, the momentum switched. The Dukes got punched and were on their heels; Colgate tied the game. The Dukes countered and opened up another double digit lead. Dukes couldn’t close this one easily due to missed FT’s and a couple of turnovers which allowed Colgate to hang until the end.
Rotroff, Tre Williams and David Dixon (who played the best game of his young career) were critical components to this win.
Hope Reece and Gunn are back soon; and Easley gets out of the doghouse. Go Dukes! •

BTW at 63% Dae Dae has to be one of the best 3pt shooters in the country.
