Offline I grew to be skeptical of KD's "not good" half court approach to BB last year, but his recruiting has been very good. So, to me, this very talented team is on track to be in the top 4 in the A-10, then get to the A-10 final. KD has both, let these very talented kids run, and still works the half-court in the second half. My over all feelings is KD is a good coach, but his Dukes this year are great at transition and pressing the pace . To me, too many games, the talent of the players got the led, then in the second half, we lay an egg? Second half adjustments should be add to the lead. Not sit on it. Bottom line, we finish in the top 4, and take the A-10 tournament . Bold, but not impossible at this point. Offline I can't consider the year a success without the retention of the vast majority of the eligible roster members. Offline I can't consider the year a success without the retention of the vast majority of the eligible roster members. So if the Dukes win the A10, you would not consider the season a success??? Gee whiz, they won the A10, but Quincy McGriff transferred - we have to fire everyone. We win the A-10 and the portal won't matter. St.B. won the A-10 with less talent than this team, so it's not a dream at this point. It's with in reach. Offline You would be hard pressed to find a team in Division one college basketball that has 12 players playing at least 8 minutes a game, 12 players scoring 3.4 ppg or more, 8 players averaging 3 rebounds per game or more. This team has serious depth and talent. I tried to do some research before I realized it would take me days to figure out if there's another team that fits that bill. Maybe somebody out there knows where to get such info because I don't. Go Dukes! But your stats for the Dukes bear out the impressions we have had of a strong team-oriented group of players. In fact, several of last night's turnovers were on the side of over-sharing the basketball as opposed to individuals going for their own points. It's kind of a good indication.
What do we expect from the Dukes and KD this Season
