This should be a good comparison of how home court advantage affects the game. Dukes played both teams. How do you like that 9 pm start? Fair or unfair advantage? Wow Daytons uniforms old school 60s powder blue. Sweet. I remember the Zoph , Nelson Durham era with the Dukes powder blue uniforms. Dayton just gets it & fully embraces its past history. Second half, vcu 3 ball and transition got them back, then a bizarre amount of miss-handle passing by Dayton? Go figure. Even the last drive to the hoop for Dayton, the ref's didn't bail them out? Great comeback. VCU Shriver was hot with the 3s' tonight. VCU defended better in the 2nd half and stepped up the speed of their offense. Love the atmosphere in Dayton, but not enough to overcome VCU. I hope the DUQs were watching.... Dukes win even bigger now. Highlights of this one: There's also a nice slate of A10 hoops today... But these Dukes are great at beating a full-court press to an easy transition basket and these Dukes are superior at all transition baskets, let alone their ability to hit the 3 s. I don't know how KD got these kids, but, he will be likely Coach of the year. I watched a good part of that game, SBU guards are quick and tough. Banks is their leader and can really drive the ball and make plays. Our guards have to defend well in this game as much or more than any other. We arent going to be putting up 90 pts in this one, gonna have to fight or every point.
