What an awesome response from our Dukes in the second half. When things are going the way they have lately, that rim can look sooooo small. But our Dukes kept fighting. Held Loyola scoreless for the first seven minutes of the second half, and to 18 for the entire half. Not only did the Guys come back -- the Women were down 30-16 after the first quarter and pulled it out 87-78 Much better effort in the 2nd half. Some timely shots and nice game from Rotroff. Dukes went small half way in the second pulled away. Scored 39 to 18 in the second. This win was crucial or we would be nearly last in the league. Jimmy Clark is a warrior. Now that was funny. Hopefully we win cause that will make espn. Who order the food? One of the refs or someone in the stands? Way to funny. Wow. Looks like Dambrot may have lost the team again… unless someone steps up in the 2nd half. It would appear that KD is not a good coach. Where did the high scoring perimeter game go? Clark got a pass to a wide open 3 and not take it but seemed to have to dibble in to pass inside to what turned out to be, again, no points? Some very bad coaching is taking place here. Or maybe he passed up on the three because he hasn’t gotten off to a good start from the perimeter today and is a better driver. Clark did some nice work in the second half. Great comeback over all. Ten games left. Can we do this 6 more times against some much better teams to get to 20 wins going into the tournament? Thank you Mr. Rotroff!!! Uber eats guy blowing up all over the internet. Ellis Cannon & Tim Benz getting major 👍 for their live on air comments. For all you Cannon & Benz haters I rest my case. Classic moment in Duquesne basketball history. How ironic the same date of Jerome Lanes monster dunk. Great job Dukes & coaching staff adjustments second half. Ten games left. Can we do this 6 more times against some much better teams to get to 20 wins going into the tournament? Gotta win at least one on the road and win all home games. Saturday will go a long way towards getting to 20. If the Dukes had won the Fordham game they would be 5-3. Big difference. A number of years ago, as I am sure you remember, the Dukes got a lot of publicity because of a snow storm. Now, because of a McDonald’s delivery. Hey, whatever works!!! A number of years ago, as I am sure you remember, the Dukes got a lot of publicity because of a snow storm. Now, because of a McDonald’s delivery. Hey, whatever works!!! I remember that. Coming back from GW? A10 Standings after tonight: This is the time of year when the cream usually begins to rise to the top. I'm glad we got VCU when we did. The second half last night really showed that this team believes they are contenders. Down 9 they did not fold - they took care of business. Hopefully that confidence carries over to the next game. As the standings show, every game in this league is a coin flip for everyone. The hungrier, more confident team will win. Uber eats guy blowing up all over the internet. Re: Game Thread - Loyola University Chicago Ramblers
Clark is one tough kid! Awesome minutes from Rotroff. Awesome shift from Rozier when Clark picked up his 4th foul. Great win. Nice little drive and floater from Brewer for the cherry on top ;)

Re: Game Thread - Loyola University Chicago Ramblers
-What's up with Clark's ankle? It seems he is in agonizing pain for a minute and then is able to come back in and dunk on people. Hope he's okay.
-We got back within 4 after being down 11 with about 4 minutes left in the first half but stagnated again to be down 9 at half.
-With 13:30 left in the second half Gunn got the ball on the wing just inside the three point line. Drew Valentine yelled for them to not double him and he posted the guy up very well to take the lead. After that they doubled him.
-I also noticed at the game that Carl Thomas was sitting on the baseline bench-side. He was even giving advice to Dae Dae who has said before he knows those guys from recruiting in the past. It was interesting to see him coaching him even though Carl never coached Dae Dae at Duquesne.
