Offline Duquesne made national news last night. The sad thing is that our city’s all sports all the time station 93.7 carried the Uber Eats delivery story but didn’t even give the score that Duquesne won as an even “by the way” story. Offline The incident was more annoyance than anything, to me. The irony was that the announcers screamed into the microphone repeatedly about 'Hey, there's a basketball game going on', while they themselves ignored the game while yakking about the delivery kid.. Come, come now! That was just snappy repartee by the Algonquin Round Table of announcing. (somewhat obscure reference in the style of Loose Cannon) Offline The incident was more annoyance than anything, to me. Where was security at the gate? Offline Does anyone know how this guy got admitted to the arena? Where was security at the gate? Offline Does anyone know how this guy got admitted to the arena? Where was security at the gate? I had the same questions Motor. I am glad it was just a prank, but regrettably in today's world people in charge of security can't afford to laugh it off as a harmless prank. At least I hope that is the way DU Security looks at this. Offline Does anyone know how this guy got admitted to the arena? Where was security at the gate? I had the same questions Motor. No one commented on the bad turnover their best player had, throwing to ball directly to Rotroff while that kid was on the floor. It worked out great!
Uber Eats makes national headlines but not the game itself
They only cover Pitt now and no other scores.

It was a prank. Not really an Uber eats driver. There was no security as people can apparently just walk onto the court. And he was not kicked out but allowed to return to the stands. Mickey Mouse operation at Duquesne.
