Offline 12:30pm EST tip on Saturday 02/11/2023 at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, Pittsburgh, PA Offline Don't forget...RED out!! Let's show this team how much we appreciate them! Offline Phoenix, when was the last time we beat the Bonnies? Offline Little surprised by the line. I was guessing Dukes -1.5. That's what 2 big wins will do. Press worked well against them at their place, hoping to see it early tomorrow. Offline Phoenix, when was the last time we beat the Bonnies? I believe KD has only beaten the Bonnies once. Offline Phoenix, when was the last time we beat the Bonnies? Last win: DUQUESNE 81, ST. BONAVENTURE 77 (OT) Feb. 26, 2020 • Reilly Center • Olean, N.Y. Offline Do you know the date? We have alway struggled against them, no matter who they had on their team. For years,, it has seemed that Schmidt "has our number." I hope tomorrow is different. Go Dukes! Offline Coach Dambrot must slay the Dragon. Go Dukes Offline They got a good starting 5 and no bench. They seemed to wear down last time we played.Hopefully Dukes Offline Bona has won 9 of last 10 because they had. better talent. Not tomorrow. Offline Interesting David Dixon highlight tape showing obvious tremendous upside: Offline Took longer than I expected but Bonnie board started up with the we are going to get homered by officials take. Must of been a couple of old timers because we haven't enjoyed any home cooking since the nelson's were here but I hope they're right for once. Offline If you have followed the games, here is what you all know. Offline Not to change the subject, but I watched St.L. loose at Dayton and 2 things struck me. They can not shoot and they can't defend under the basket. Dayton didn't beat them as much as St.L. simply missed every shot. Win today and beat St.L. and we just might sweep the rest of the season. Offline I am a BIG hypocrite for saying this, but one game at a time. We've got a war ahead of us with Bonaventure today! But I think we're ready for it! As long as the focus is there on the defensive end and the ball is moving on the offensive end we're nearly unbeatable Offline I am a BIG hypocrite for saying this, but one game at a time. We've got a war ahead of us with Bonaventure today! But I think we're ready for it! As long as the focus is there on the defensive end and the ball is moving on the offensive end we're nearly unbeatable Absolutely agree. Today's game is a must win. I'll be there in Red today. Go Dukes. Offline I am going against history & my initial gut feeling to predict a Dukes win by at least 10 points. THIS is the day that the Dukes are on the rise, they have an important home game with a great crowd, & they seize the day! Offline Had to go out of town but will be watching. Dukes by 9. Offline Big one for our Dukes today! Limit ball penetration and control Venning, and I like our odds. They are a very good defensive team, would love to get off to a good start today. Need to match their physicality. I’ve been fired up all morning! Go Dukes! Offline Terrible travel call to start the game. Clark jumpstop, step through, layup. Just how it’s taught. Textbook. This the homecooking Bonnies fans were talking about? Haha. Offline 6-2 fouls disadvantage. If this is homecooking, I do NOT like it. Offline Wow, I'll save the analysis for later. That was amazing. That defensive effort was unlike anything I have ever seen. I love this team. Great win! Offline Geez. Should have never been that close. Make free throws!! Defense was off that charts today, really amazing the # of steals and TOs forced. Offline This ain’t horseshoes. This ain’t hand grenades. Wins a win and good teams have to be able to gut them out. How many Dukes teams in the past would either win big or fold under pressure with no in between? Bona is *always* a tough out and we got there. Let’s gooooo! Offline I am glad my Doc isn't checking my heart!! OMG what a game. So tense, frustrating, exhilarating all at once. Go Dukes!! Defense was outstanding the whole game and is the singular reason we won. When you shoot 2.17% from the three, 36.8% from the field and 56.3% from the foul line and still win that is a testament to the D. I mean we forced 24 turnovers and if we shoot half way decent we will by 10 or 15. I finally exhaled and I am just relieved we won and finally beat the Bonnies. I also think KD pushed all the right buttons in this game - well coached KD. Remember KD can't make the shots for the guys, but again when your O is off you need the D to carry you and this team has bought into that!! LETS GO DUQUESNE!! Huge win boys!!

RECAP Sincere Carry scored 18 points, handed out a career-high 11 assists and hit big free throws both at the end of regulation and in overtime to lead Duquesne (19-8, 9-6) to an 81-77 win at St. Bonaventure (18-10, 10-5). The win was the school record fifth Atlantic 10 road win for the Dukes who snapped an 11-game losing streak at Reilly Center. Michael Hughes had 18 points, seven rebounds and three blocks and Lamar Norman Jr. added 14 points - including four 3-pointers - for DU. Duquesne, which led for over 32 minutes overall, found itself down three when Kyle Lofton, who scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half, scored on a Hughes goal tend with 40 seconds to go. Hughes answered with a jump hook to make it 70-69 with 27 seconds left. Lofton then made one-of-two free throws to set up DU’s final possession. Carry was fouled and converted a 1-and-1 to tie it at 71-71 with 13 seconds left to force overtime. Baylee Steele opened overtime with a 3-pointer to give Duquesne a lead it would never relinquish. DU was up 78-77 when Carry, who had just misfired on a 3-point attempt from the top of the key, drew a charge from Justin Winston at the other end. Tavian Dunn-Martin was then fouled and made one-of-two with 21 seconds left. Hughes then got a piece of a Lofton shot in the lane that was tracked down by Carry who was fouled with seven seconds left. Carry buried both free throws for the final margin. Duquesne led by nine twice, before taking a 35-28 lead at the half. Hughes had eight and Austin Rotroff, who had 10 points in his first 17 games, scored all six of his points in the opening 20 minutes for DU. Lofton, who had two points on three shots in the first half, scored five in the first two minutes of the second half to key an 11-3 run that gave SBU its first lead since the 12:15 mark of the first half at 39-38. Carry had a layup rim out and Osunniyi, who finished with a game-high 23 points, converted at the other end to make it 60-56 with just over five minutes to go. Carry then hit a 3-pointer to make it a one-point game. SBU scored on back-to-back possessions to take its largest lead, before Carry scored to make it 66-63. DU cut it to one on a Carry drive with one minute left.
