I may have to apologize to you for complaining about the referees. I have just watched two games in the NIT and the officials were horrible and the commentators also agreed. I go out and ref six days a week therefore I haven’t watched many of the games you commented on the poor officiating. So you may be correct and have legitimate complaints about the refs. It seemed to favor the power 5 schools. With all the gambling going on, I think maybe they are placing bets under other people. With the NLI, transfer portal, and favoring the power schools, I may be done with college basketball as well and just continue refereeing. When I really want to go to Duquesne games. I can take a few bad calls only if they even out per half. Not when we go to like WVU and get all our guys in foul trouble in the first few minutes, then see the refs even them out with petty calls on our opponents late in the game when they have little impact. Richmond game this year comes to mind on one critical no call at the end of the game. I may have to apologize to you for complaining about the referees. Haha appreciated but unnecessary my friend! I have watched a lot of basketball over the years and each year get more and more frustrated by this part of the game. To err is human, but it is the inconsistencies throughout the game that get me. I also think the ticky tacky fouls called by A10 officials hurts the A10 teams with OOC play. When I watch the Power 5 games so much more incidental contact goes uncalled. The A10 needs to do a better job of getting more consistent internally and externally.
