Saw some stat guy on twitter say Dukes will have top 5 offense and defense in the A10 this year, and predicted a 24-7 record.   

That record would not surprise me. 
Would also like to see a zone defense of any kind deployed now and again.

This is a really informative article regarding zone defense. When teams can run out 3 or 4 guards, forwards and even centers that can knock down the 3 pointer at a high rate, you better hope that your team’s zone defense can defend the 3 (or hope the opponent has a cold shooting night).

That being said, I believe that the zone defense is a tool to be used when you need to change the momentum or pace of the game. I have been hoping that we would see this defense deployed occasionally under KD, but I’m not holding out much hope. I think the roster is there this year (tall and athletic) to effectively use situationally.

Couldn't agree more CLK. Too hard headed and that really bothers me. Could be the fly in the ointment that makes this season less than what it could be. Hope I'm not too harsh here and that I'm dead wrong!
