"U.S. District Court Judge John Bailey issued a temporary restraining order on Wednesday against the NCAA rule requiring multi-time transfers to sit out a season. The ruling, which came in the Northern District of West Virginia, opens the door for transfers sidelined due to NCAA rules to be eligible immediately. The temporary restraining order is for just 14 days, however, meaning the ultimate legal fate of the NCAA's transfer restrictions has yet to be adjudicated." WOW all this means is a player could potentially play for 5 schools in 5 years! Insanity "U.S. District Court Judge John Bailey issued a temporary restraining order on Wednesday against the NCAA rule requiring multi-time transfers to sit out a season. WOW all this means is a player could potentially play for 5 schools in 5 years! Insanity Nobody really knows what is going on... this is just another of many bad looks for the NCAA. It seems there is a large concern that after the 14 days they meet in court again and the decision could be reversed. Many theories and scenarios are being imagined including the NCAA vacating wins from schools that won with players benefiting from this decision if it ends up getting reversed. Former Dukes player, Primo Spears, also benefits since he will now be able to play at Florida State (after transferring from Georgetown). is that 3 teams in 3 years for Spears? College sports is going to hell. The NCAA today has said that no schools will be penalized retroactively by vacating wins or any other punishment for playing somebody who is later deemed to be ineligible... but redshirt rules still apply. A student could lose a year of eligibility if they play during this 14 day period.

Judge Grants Immediate Eligibility to NCAA Transfers Sitting Out
Judge issues restraining order against NCAA, temporarily granting eligibility for multi-time transfers - CBSSports.com
In the A10 this is huge for VCU who started their own lawsuit over the eligibility of former Virginia Tech, GW, and Oklahoma guard Joe Bamisile.

Why even recruit a player, just throw some chum, aka NIL money, into the water in April, see what you can pull out. Dambrot seems to be doing it pretty well, Clark, Grant, Savrasov, Hughes, Williams, TDM, etc.
