Can't thank you enough for your breakdowns, PhoenixRising2. Appears to be a lot of work and effort, and it is certainly appreciated by all.

Phoenix, If the Dukes happen to lose, and we hope they win!! Will this be Dambrots longest losing streak? If not, does anyone know what was?
Come on Coach, get these guys ready!!
Go Dukes.

I wish I could erase 2022 from my memory like you have

Agree with Prince of Pilsner--much thanks, Phoenix.
We lost 17 straight in 2021-22. Our last win that year was January 8 at UMass. That's got to be the most.
Notice that per KenPom our worst bad loss is their best bad loss: Loyola of Chicago. I hope that means they're inconsistent and have a bad day tomorrow.

My fault… I kind of erased that from my memory banks. YUK!

The students are great,Ive had a lot of fun.The tuition is ridiculous and so they should do more, free sandwiches, drinks,t shirts anda party like atmosphere. For the alumni serve beer for a dollar, fill that arena, put 3,500 in the Coop and watch the teams be much more successful.

The students do get into the game and I'm all for some free incentives, and you got my vote on that dollar beer. LOL.

Its difficult to recruit when the balcony seats are empty and they distort the attendance figures when people
dont show up for games.Players want to show off their skills and play hard in front of a highly charged
fanbase. The athletic dept needs to think outside the lines to get fans in the stands.
The program lacks passion, imagination and leadership.

Anybody know why this is a much tougher ticket than in years past? I've always been able to get good tickets at St. Joe's. Last year I even waited until the day before the game, but still sat in the 2nd row right behind the Dukes bench. This year I checked starting a couple weeks ago and there were only tickets high up behind the Hawks hoop.

In all sincerity we can all agree this is the most talented Duquesne team to hold last place in the A-10. Cmon Coach kick up your game. 👍

Thanks, Prince and scduke, for the kind words.
Ironduke81, not sure if this team was ever in last place in the A10, but the 2008 Dukes under Ron Everhart were the most underachieving team in recent memory. That team finished 17-13; 7-9 in the league and lost their first game in the A10 tourney.
Shawn James, Kieron Achara, Reggie Jackson, Gary Tucker, Aaron Jackson, Bill Clark, Damien Saunders, Kojo Mensah, Phil Fayne, Jason Duty,
Very similar in tone to what has been going on this year. Ron was having trouble figuring out lineups and roles; even tried to resurrect his 10-40 scheme with this most talented team. The team completely collapsed down the stretch, losing 6 of their last 7 games. I wish duq81 was still with us; I can still hear him pointing out how badly this talent was squandered by the coaching staff.

I was at that game. There was a point guard throwing bounce passes into the stands that game. For whatever reason Aaron Jackson played very limited especially down the stretch. Something was very suspicious & strange. Trust me I witnessed that huge upset🤔

That team always gave off a disjointed vibe for me but, they were loaded.

Sort of like this year. What should be incredible depth has turned out to be too many moving parts. So far anyway.

No Dae Dae again today.

I expect young Jake will be aggressively tested on both ends today. May fortune & fortitude favor him.
Offline
I don’t think Dae Dae not playing is a game breaker. They “Should” have beaten Richmond without him.
Offline
Trying to think positively about the 0-4 start. Besides the fact that they could/should have won 2 of those games, three of those losses were against teams with a combined 12-1 record.

Without Grant today, things look pretty bleak. St. Joe’s has too many weapons. If they have a good shooting day the Dukes are in trouble today. St Joe has been wildly inconsistent but is capable of playing at a high level as in their blowout win over Nova earlier this season. It’s just a tough game for the struggling Dukes to fix their
I like St. Joe’s to cover easily in this one.

Who are these guys?

Cripes, not only does DiMichele get scholarship, he needs NIL money or will be at pitt next year.
Who would think a frog would be dominating for St Joes. Wish we could have that big fella. Geez. He averages 7 ppg in 20 minutes. Maybe he wears out in the 2nd half.

Have no idea why they can’t ever hold a lead.
I’m not a coach and have no clue.

Jake for President!
The whole team could have folded in the first half. The whole crew stayed with it. Stay tough!

What is the back-story on Dimichele? How is he not recruited by anyone? And this is not his first good game, he has been pretty consistent, especially for a freshman,
