This probably won’t look anything like a typical Dukes-Bonnies game. Unfortunately I think the result will be the same as most of the recent ones. I really appreciate these preview’s Phoenix. Sadly I’ve had the same feeling the last few games. The algorithms are giving the Dukes too much respect. As always, I hope I’m wrong though.

Has anyone read/heard if Dae Dae will be available?

NEWS FLASH: The season is not over. I am going to continue to root for and believe in this team and this coach. My advice to the team is to believe in yourself and each other and tune out those who don't believe in you. Time to start kicking ass and taking names! GO DUKES!

Your right. There is a lot of games left. If they just figure out the right combo of players they just might get some wins. I hope they do that because these last 5 games are disappointing.

i paid for espn+, so I will watch, just wondering what way the Dukes will invent to lose. Seems we are in every game as of late, but fumble away the chance for the W.
Part of me wants Grant's 15 ppg back, part of me wants to see more Hronsky, Necas, Nichols and DiMichele.

I agree with Townson and would also like to see more Hronsky, Necas and Nicols. DiMichele has played well, but doesn't it say something about talent evaluation that a walk-in is better than your scholarship players? KD's insistence on short point guards is just so puzzling. None of these guys are Calvin Murphy and someone posted Rozier's over-all stats on another thread and my recollection is that they were not impressive. Rozier is a great kid and a good leader, but ask yourselves, is he a quality A-10 level PG (defense, shooting, passing etc.)? And now we sign another 5'9" PG for next year, maybe i am wrong, but I just don't get it.

The top 5 lineups this year by minutes with NET ratings and stats:
Our most common lineup has a horrible rating but Savrasov hasn’t been seen in a while. Also worth noting that the most common lineup has only played 60 minutes together total… out of the hundred or so combinations we have probably tried the most common having that little amount of time together says a lot about Dambrot not figuring out rotations yet. Most of the other A10 schools most common lineups have played 150+ minutes together already.

I think you are right on. The Dukes are losing and that is the bottom line. A 6'2" point guard has nearly a foot vertical advantage in reach than a 5'9". Things like that add up. No real transition game and over depending on an inside game also contribute to a lower chance of winning. It's been KD's style of play all seven years.

I'm looking for another very close game but hoping for a better outcome than the last 2-point losses.
Hoping Dusan can get his game going just a bit as the season wears on. Do like Hronsky and Necas seeing a bit more court time. If Rozier was 6-0 tall I would have little problem with him playing as much as he is but he's not and I do. GO DUKES!!!

No one I'd rather beat in the conference. Hope the ref's hose them good.

No Dae Dae again.

Absolute defensive masterclass by the Dukes in the first half. Now that was fun to watch! Whoever said offense sells tickets, clearly hasn’t watched that defense by our DUKES!

This is like a football game.

Imagine getting hit by two elbows in quick succession AND being called for a foul. Poor Kareem LOL!

Absolutely fantastic performance by the Dukes for the first 35 minutes. FANTASTIC. Sure looked like Dambrot out chessed Schmidt by a landslide in this one. Outstanding defensive performance by the Dukes. If we keep that same energy and effort on that end we will be what we should be.
Sidenote, we sure miss Grant’s composure and free throw shooting down the stretch.
