One more. Keep grabbing those loose balls, keep playing that lock down defense, and keep hitting those clutch shots. We got this. Damn steelers couldnt let us have have our moment in the spotlight. Pens helped at least. When you play good defense like Duquesne you got a pretty good chance.I think the defense the Dukes The exposure Dukes get tomorrow has to help recruiting.
Dukes flag flying in front of my house. Just 1 more! Lord, just one more! Shame on all of you if you don’t go to Mass tomorrow. 🙏🙏🙏🙏Go Dukes Last edited by Ironduke81 (3/16/2024 8:46 pm) One more. Keep grabbing those loose balls, keep playing that lock down defense, and keep hitting those clutch shots. We got this. Dukes shot 50 percent from the field and 47 percent from 3. That's going to win a lot of games with the kind of stiff defense KD's team plays. He's got them in a zone right now. Speaking of Necas, the know-it-all on the broadcast said early on, something like 'They have to get him off the floor, because he's a defensive liability. The Bonnies will attack him every time.' I thought it was a good observation by the color man. You're right, Necas does have good mobility and quickness for his size, but with the way the Dukes were switching on defense it led to Necas trying to guard the quicker, smaller, more experienced Banks who got two easy baskets in a row. During the subsequent timeout KD removed Necas and changed up the defense a bit. Necas and the Dukes were fine the rest of the way. Yeah, it was not a lacking on Necas's part, but the defensive tactics. My point was that Necas is not a defensive liability, and I was irritated by the commentary, Shame on all of you if you don’t go to Mass tomorrow. 🙏🙏🙏🙏Go Dukes I'm wearing my green Chuck Cooper Chuck Taylors to Mass today. I'm reading the Epistle at Mass today. I hope that gives us a little push from above!

play, the pressure to make shots lessens and the offense becomes better. Dukes seem not to be rattled
by mistakes and play in the moment which makes them dangerous.

Not sure where that came from. Personal observation is that Necas has very good mobility and quickness to go with his size.
And how about that defense? Even when we had scoring lulls we kept the lead.
Tomorrow VCU will be deservedly favored, but I sure like our chances.
