RPI as of Jan 5

Duquesne 304 out of 350 total. Out of the major conference teams & the mid-majors  Duquesne & only the Dukes reach the magical 300 & above mark.Good news a-10 conference play begins weds. Great opportunity to right the ship.

Re: RPI as of Jan 5

Again beginning of the a-10 schedule can improve the RPI. No mention of the kids. Obviously they had nothing to do with this brutal schedule. Finally I believe the RPI has an effect on post season bids NIY CBI & the big dance.

Re: RPI as of Jan 5

The loss to New Hampshire really hurt.  Even with a 4 game win streak because of our poor SOS our RPI has not climbed.  Not sure the RPI has any real impact on the Dukes at this point, the only thing that is important is to keep on winning and getting better.  This is a different team with Mason.  Having to play Colter and White together for long stretches was a killer for us. I like the rotation Coach Ferry has developed. You are right my friend, League play is a new season and an opportunity to right the ship.

Re: RPI as of Jan 5

I wouldn't worry too much about the RPI right now.  The A-10 as a whole, but in particular the bottom of the A-10, is scheduling for the RPI after conference play is over, not the current RPI.  We should be in more of a waiting mode, even for as abysmal as the current RPI is.

The RPI won't stabalize for at least 5 conference games.  Anyone else think ND St is #20, Santa Barbara #38, while Michigan is #64 and Marquette is not in the top 100?
