What a pickup!!!! Now that we've added 3 portal commitments, how many remaining scholarships do we still have to use? Now that we've added 3 portal commitments, how many remaining scholarships do we still have to use? I have this unconfirmed list of scholarship players for the upcoming season. Awesome! I remember when Townsonkid said if he or Cardet (the other guard from Chicago State) go into the portal the Dukes should try to nab them and they did. Corbett is an absolute stud. Rebounds, drives to the hoop, and plays defense just ask Northwestern. Cardet declared for the NBA draft, but he may still become available. That would be interesting. What a pick up in Corbett. Nab the Monmouth or Idaho State center and we are good to go big time. Nice couple of days! From his bio... Anyone know what other offers he had, who else he was considering? Miami, Mississippi State, Virginia Tech, Utah State, Loyola Chicago, UTEP, Illinois State, UAB and others showed interest. A guy coming from Chicago State most power 5 or 6 schools wouldn't bother to have him on their radar, but I'm sure some did, but the Dukes won out on this one.
