I've joined the Red and Blue Collective to help provide NIL money to both the men's and women's basketball programs. If we want to have successful programs we must have a healthy NIL fund so I'm doing my small part and I encourage each and every one of you to do the same. I'll be making a monthly donation to both of the basketball programs' NIL funds as that will help them to budget their resources going forward but a one time donation is also an option.

Such a strange time in college sports, where fans have the potential to pay for wins. But we have to do it.

Dont like it but it has to be done to achieve success.

Does anyone know if the Red/Blue Collective merch purchases support the same way? A regular donation is not in the cards due to two young kids (one with a significant physical disability) but something like that might be a nice alternative to just doing a one-time donation?

If you buy a player's jersey through the NiL website a percentage (not sure how much) of the proceeds go directly to that player. I think if you donate to the NiL overall they decide where to allocate the funds and a purchase is a more personalized way to get your favorite player a couple bucks. This is all just speculation based on what I have seen and heard. On that note you can buy non-personal items on the NiL website such as A10 champ shirts - I bet the portion that reaches the NiL from those purchases is treated more like a general donation.

Sorry, I’m referring to the shop on the R&B Collective website.
