Yep!!!!
My only fear is that we won't be able to hold on to him for long!
But let's not put the cart before the horse.

I like the hire and am excited and optimistic about  DRUquesne BUT we all are most certainly putting the proverbial cart before the horse.  He’s yet to coach a basketball game in Div 1 and some of us have us making a deep NCAA tourney run and others have him being swept away by a bigger program!  I’m glad we are excited and I’m glad we have a coach that inspires hope but I am by no means convinced that he won’t be outcoached regularly by some of the great coaches in the A-10. It’s inevitable. This is STILL a very tough league and don’t think for a minute the other coaches aren’t licking their chops at a rookie head coach.

Good observation. Yes Dru is a rookie. Kind of like Jamie Dixon. But, like Jamie, Dru isn't starting from square one, just like Dixon. Both got to see every team and every venue in the league before hand with a front row view of  both their opponents and the court strategy of those coaches. Maybe Coach Dru gets out coached a game or two, but this isn't going to be the "Ferry years".  It's way more likely to resemble, the Dixon years at Pitt.
