Online! Offline Never thought I would see the day. What a year. Let’s go back to back. Go Dukes Offline It’s not too surprising since the conference was responsible for both the video and (very likely) the mistake, but how can any video of that not include the early release of the streamers?
2024 A-10 Championship Rewind Video
“This month, the Atlantic 10 is looking back at the 22 championships during the 2023-24 academic year.
Below is the Men's Basketball Championship rewind.
Duquesne earned an NCAA Tournament bid for the first time in 47 years, beating fifth-seeded seeded VCU 57-51 to win the Atlantic 10 Tournament championship.
The sixth-seeded Dukes (24-11) led by 14 at the half, but bringing home that long-awaited invite to March Madness was a struggle. Duquesne scored only 21 points and shot 5 for 29 from the field in the second half, but the small Catholic school in Pittsburgh headed into the NCAA Tournament with an eight-game winning streak.
No. 6 Duquesne defeated No. 14 Saint Louis in the Second Round, upset No. 3 Dayton in the Quarterfinals, beat No. 7 St. Bonaventure in the Semifinals and upended No. 5 VCU in the title game to make their first NCAA Tournament since 1977.
The Dukes went onto earn an 11 seed in the NCAA Tournament and continue their run, upsetting No. 6 BYU in the first round before falling to No. 3 Illinois in the second round. Dayton also made the NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed, defeating No. 10 Nevada before falling to No. 2 Arizona in the second round”
