Hope YSU beats Pitt next week like they did a few years ago!
Pitt doesn’t want to play the Dukes on the hardwood or the gridiron.

Great bounce back for the Dukes! Getting your teeth kicked in three weeks in a row to start the season would have been devastating regardless of the competition level.

Have you heard any more about next football season? Even the outgoing Pitt AD had commented on the possibility, and they still have an opening on their schedule.

I’ve heard nothing new. It would make more sense than the other games like BC.

If Pitt struggles against Youngstown this week, they will never want to play the Dukes in football in the future. It's commendable that they have gotten a few legit D-1 schools on the schedule in recent years. TCU, Florida State, BC, etc. Even WVU was willing to play them. Why not Pitt?

I expect to see the Dukes playing at Heinz Field next year (I refuse to call it anything else regardless of the official name). Having said that I won’t be surprised if the school down Forbes Ave. schedules someone else. Still it makes too much sense to not happen and next year seems to be as likely as any year as they still have an opening less than 12 months out.

I’d like to play Pitt in soccer, football, basketball and whatever sport available but to hell with begging for a game. They wimped out in basketball and said to hell with local fans.
