    Dukes favored by 22.5 over Mercyhurst

    Duquesne is favored big time over the Lakers by 22.5. 

    This one scares me a but since the Lakers have a decent passing attack and the Dukes have given up some long passes.  They also showed that they can let up when they let a bunch of points at the end of last week’s game.

    It would be nice to see a good clean game with no really dumb mistakes.

    Dukes win 38-31.  Give some credit to Mercyhurst for the design of their offense - still DU put 38 on the board with a fumble at the 2 yard line and missing s short field goal.  In the pre game show it was mentioned that DU is one of Eight unbeaten teams against FCS competition.

    AND Judge Jack got a little airtime on the sidelines after the last td run -  he was among the ones scanned by the camera!!!

    A few teams ranked in the 20s lost, as did a couple teams just behind us.

    Attrition now has the Dukes in Top 25 of both polls.

    Great news Phoenix! If I recall correctly the only other time we've been ranked was after the playoff win.
