Offline Tip off Sunday 11/24, 1:30 PM EST at the John Gray Gymnasium in George Town, Grand Cayman. Last edited by BluffHunter (11/24/2024 12:33 am) Offline Hopefully the “experts” know something I don’t. I’m surprised to see them calling for a close game and am shocked Bart picks us to win. Offline If the defense plays harder than it has we will win. We also need someone to be the scorer today. Offline Dukes are 2½ point underdogs; O/U 145½ Offline Just signed up with Flo Sports for the month. Thank God A10 signed with espn+ in order to cancel the monthly subscription it’s pure hell. Oh well I can further raise my blood pressure by watching the Dukes play little defense & run AAU offense. 3 days will tell the 2025 season. Hopefully Flo Sports does not screw up the stream. Offline With a Dukes win today, they will play Boise State tomorrow. They will play Hampton with a loss today. Offline First commercial break... Looks like were playing better defense and moving the ball! Offline We gotta get in the paint more and work inside out for the threes... To much hoisting up the three ball, so early in the shot clock... Offline It is painful to watch this team miss so many open shots. The Dukes are so short at guard. Offline Announcer stating the obvious... Maximus Edwards has to take it to the hoop....3 for 18 from the arch doesn't cut-it....Necas has to get more touches and take more shots, particulary at the end of the shot clock. Last edited by CalDuke (11/24/2024 2:09 pm) Offline Announcer stating the obvious... Maximus Edwards has to take it to the hoop....3 for 18 from the arch doesn't cut-it.... So, it’s clear to me that the game plan is take 3s always. Nobody is taking their man to the rack one on one? Why?!? Offline Transmission Flow !!! Offline Tied at half. Nice work so far. If some of those 3's landed we could have been ahead. Nice pace too. Offline Styles1229... Did you get my message about appearing on the show?! You know I want you to... Last edited by CalDuke (11/24/2024 2:22 pm) Offline Dinkins is looking great. I love the minutes from Chabi. Max and Corbett need to start taking it to the rim. Necas improving incrementally. I like the defense for the most part. I don’t like the no Wilborn. Did he pick up a couple fouls or something? Offline Styles1229... Did you get my message about appearing on the show?! You know I want you to... Just responded Offline Dinkins is looking great. I love the minutes from Chabi. Max and Corbett need to start taking it to the rim. Necas improving incrementally. In total agreement with everything you stated, especially about Max and Corbet taking it to the rim... Last edited by CalDuke (11/24/2024 2:31 pm) Offline Things looking gloomy .... for God's sake... TAKE IT TO THE RIM !!! Offline We need stops... Offline Strange collapse in the second half. Offline Edwards and Rozier 3 of 18 from the 3. Offline 38 three point shots; made 9. 5 for 11 from the FT line. Embarrassing offensive performance today. Last edited by PhoenixRising2 (11/24/2024 3:32 pm) Offline This was a mess 2nd half. Superior coaches makes adjustments at 1/2 time. Coach Joyce looks lost. How can the remaining 5 guys from last years team regress? Look at the box score. Plus minus, shots, assists & rebounds. Dinkins has to play point. Obviously, nobody sees everyday practice. But after 4 games a blind man including the announcers questioned Edwards shot selection. This is on Coach Dru & his staff. Chemistry is a non factor with the introduction of the new players. I know Dixon, Jake, Nacas, Chabi, Haronski have game. The good news is the majority of Duquesne fans did not see this game or the next 2 remaining AAU games. The Dukes look lost. Offline Dukes face Hampton at 11 AM. Offline Dukes face Hampton at 11 AM. Thanks! Guessing that the Dukes will be favored by 3 to 4 points in this one. Desperation time. 1 2 Jump to

This team has had two major scorers stand out so far this season. Senior Oscar Cluff is 6'11, 260 pounds, and new to SDST this year after playing his debut season in D1 last year at Washington State. Averaging 17.8 ppg, he is from Sunshine Coat, Queensland, Australia and originally was a JUCO guy. Cluff does not take any 3s, is shooting 67% from the field, 79% from the stripe, and also grabbing 11.4 rebounds a game. His performance will be a determining factor of the game. The second standout is Joe Sayler, a redshirt freshman who averages 16.8 shooting 42.6% from 3 point range. Sayler is a South Dakota local and was even the valedictorian of his high school. He has missed the past two games SDST has played with a foot/ankle injury. Random sources on X state that he was day-to-day and it is not serious. Time for Dukes Basketball 3 days straight!!

I’m afraid Corbett could turn into this year’s Savrasov. Hope I’m wrong but he has been ineffective on both ends for the past 3 games…
