The situation we find ourselves in
I will start by saying, things are rarely as good as they appear or as bad as they seem. 0-6 is a nightmare scenario for a couple of reasons. In the current state of college basketball players are auditioning each game for the next team they will go to. Since the Dukes are playing so badly I fear the new portal additions won’t buy into what is necessary (team ball, sharing, role playing) and just be trying to fill the stat sheet and play hero ball. I think Dru needs to really focus on the guys he knows he can count on and simplify things and start grinding out wins.
Next game I’d go with heavy doses of:
Jake
Matus
Necas
Dixon
Barre
Wilborn (was he hurt?)
Dinkins
Focus on defense and find a way to grind one out.

Wilborn is a dunking machine who cant do anything else offensively,he is a decent rebounder and defender.
Barre is a dunking machine who cant do anything else offensively,good rebounder,decent defender.

Coach Dru. Grow and go forward. It's a learning experience. When Ron had that 11 game winning streak after going 5-5 to that point. He reevaluated who is and who isn't. Also, he took the half time adjustment, with the anticipation, of his opponents adjustments and over played anything new in the second half. Relax. It's your first season. Tomorrow, tell the kids to have fun. You will work things out after you all get back. St. Joe's that year that RE ran over them in that 11 game streak. That young St. Joe's team pulled together at the end of the year and beat the "H" out of DU in the A-10 tourney. Win or lose tomorrow. We are still all behind you.

Rather they dunk than miss 2 footers. Wilborn is still a pup, and playing against a level up in opponent. He is the one they need to develop. IDK if he was hurt or sick, who knows. Hope he is back for the next game tho.
