Turned on last two minutes of the third quarter and the play-by-play announcer is AWFUL. He clearly doesn't know anything about basketball - I don't listen to him when watching on ESPN+ but this is being broadcast over the air on Pittsburgh Sportsnet so everyone is now hearing how terrible this guy is. DU Women's Telecast PxP Announcer is an EMBARRASSMENT
In the last minutes of the third quarter he said a player had "tooken" a 3-point shot and incorrectly stated that the game was still close, because Duquesne had an 11-point lead at least 3 times!!! At the time, the score was 52-31 and he even said the score and then added it was an 11-point lead.
In the beginning of the 4th quarter, he said it was Blackford passing to Blackford. I stopped listening after that.
For a school with a strong communications department, this is down right embarrassing.
This guy is so bad. Anyone who listens to the women's games on ESPN+ knows what I am talking about. This needs to be addressed immediately.
Somebody in Athletics needs to do something because this is on YOU!
