Offline I'd say this much, at the end of the GW game, Coach Dru gave Edwards a big hug in that game ending celebration and it carried over to this game. Edwards came into this game and crushed St. B. We are just beginning to see this team take off. Everyone on this team is a Shooting Star. Just my take, just saying. Offline Dukes are ranked #23 in the Torvik rankings since 12/14. The only mid majors in the top 30. Tried to print screen, but not taking. You can look up Torvik rankings and put 12/14/2024 to present and see for yourself. Very impressive. Offline Great game all around- 21 assists I think. A very unselfish team. Schmidt whines the whole game as to do their fans and has forever. Makes me sick. I hope the A-10 referees have enough integrity not to screw this team down the stretch. They have to see that the Dukes are the more talented team and should get their fair share of calls. (profanity) man we are the defending champs. Love how Dru has gotten much more involved in terms of the officiating as the season has gone on and as his team has developed. Dru knows these little nuances and is going to defend his team. When you lose consistently, (like we have in the past) you don’t get the benefit of the doubt from any officiating. That is true in all sports. Offline 5 straight against the Bonnies sure feels nice. When these Dukes share the ball like they did tonight, we are so fun to watch. We are so balanced, so deep, and so versatile. All this without Dimichele too! Can’t wait to get him back. Towards the end they showed DiMichelle on the bench with the walking boot back on - apparently he suffered a set back in his recovery. At this point I would hope for a redshirt. While some players might not want to give up the year or could go into the portal anyway I'd guess he would NOT be in that category. Seeing Jake with the boot back on seems like an indicator he will red-shirt, especially as we were told that decision has to be made now. Fortunately, the team's depth is back-filling the role that Jake was filling so well last year and until the condition set in. Online! Hope he didn't play too many games to keep him from getting a redshirt. I have no idea what that number is. Offline Jake has played 7 games. Per the web, if you have a season ending injury and have played 30% or fewer of the team's game, you are eligible for an exception. If you've played more than 30%, you're out of luck. I believe he is under 30 Offline Jake has played 7 games. Per the web, if you have a season ending injury and have played 30% or fewer of the team's game, you are eligible for an exception. If you've played more than 30%, you're out of luck. I believe he is under 30 With 31 scheduled games, the maximum games that Jake could have played is 9 (and he had to be medically shut down before the halfway point of the season). He thus should qualify for a medical hardship year having only played 7 games, the last being on November 26. Online! Thanks CTS and Phoenix. If someone had told me at 18 games into the season that the Dukes would have 2 players in double figures with the leader at 11 ppg I would have thought we would be looking at a 2-16 record.

My only 2 complaints- 1. They need to get a better shot off as the shot clock is running down. They wait until 4 seconds are left then panic a bit.
2. We had seats in the middle of Bonna Baby land. There were dramatically more fouls called against the Dukes and they STILL were crying.
Hopefully winning last year will turn around that trend.
And Bona fans are notorious cry babies over everything.

BEST TEAM PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR 75-57
The boot was on today, and it's unlikely it will come off for a few more weeks. That doesn't leave any time to get back to game shape. Turmeric and other natural approaches might be of use, but this condition might possibly best be treated by surgery. (Note the "might possibly" language used to soften any uproar this opinion might create).
