A really good coach, a Philly legend and one of the good guys in the sport. Amazing job at Penn getting them consistently to the top of the Ivy League, and then kept Temple at a high level when he replaced John Chaney. He did his Alma mater a huge service when La Salle was having a tough time in finding someone who was willing to take that job. Fran came out of coaching retirement to help bridge the gap. (Curious to see who they can find - it’s a bad situation there.) A great coach and a great guy. Dukes will have their hands full next week at Lasalle as they'll be honoring him. Might have to beat GMU and VCU at home to escape the dreaded bottom six.

Fran Dunphy Announces Retirement at Season’s End
Legendary coach for multiple A10 schools, I’m sure his Temple days have not been forgotten by all of us. Wish him the best in retirement.

PS Still wish he had one less win; so close for the Dukes to win that A10 championship against Temple.
