Entertaining, but don’t think it’s sustainable for the Dukes. Need to ramp up the defense and get out of there with a W and the 7 seed.

Two outrageous homer calls in the last minute. Out-of-bounds call overturned. Give the ball to SLY. Then in-bounds to Rozier, fouled by 2 guys, called a tie-up.

Gotta hand it to SLU, they sure made some shots when they needed to. Feels like the officiating tilted the court in their favor though. Loved our effort in a hostile environment, just frustrated we gave this one away at the end of regulation. Should we face the bilikens in the A10 tourney, I hope the Dukes remember how this felt.

This is an extreme rarity for me but, I believe the Dukes got an unfair whistle tonight that cost them a victory. Not a crooked whistle, but an unfair one.
However, after watching it a bunch of times, I disagree with your analysis on the late tie up of Kareem. The SLU player on the right had both hands cleanly on the ball. If the teams were reversed, every Dukes fan would want this to be called a jump ball.
Mostly that play was about the Dukes losing their cool in a tight spot. To pass it to that player in that location rather than call a timeout shows lack of basketball IQ, experience, & cool.

he and Matus absolutely kill the team . They are at least consistent in that they do it VIRTUALLY EVERY GAME.
as for the coach - here is a dollar BUY A CLUE !!!!!!!!!

Up 6 and they have to shoot 3's and we back off player trying to keep him from driving around you. Then do it again.

Great game Dukes. Great game plan and execution by the coaching staff. BUT…
Avila 4 fouls & you don’t iso him on the low block? This is coaching 101.Second point not a hater but Kareem defensive liability. Why was he guarding Jimerson. Sorry but his playing time would be more beneficial limited. I wish college basketball like hockey had a plus minus stat. Coach Dru is a first year coach. I love his upside. Please for the pending tournament have a come to Jesus in regard to playing the best players. Great effort Duquesne.
