I would take the money line. Dukes got shutout of ALL of the A10 season awards. Not suprised. Maybe next year.

Jackie Johnson felt he was snubbed, and went off on the way to a Fordham victory yesterday.

I would like to see Max to light up the score board today.

Wilborn is so good.

Yes, he is. He's not timid either. That block was awesome.

Nicely done closing out the half.

Keep doing what your doing on D.

Falling apart here. Need to start scoring.

All it takes is an tiny bit of full court pressure and we collapse. Then there is the pressure outside of the 3 pt line causing turnovers, looking like clowns. And awful shot selection, no desire to go inside. And we got a close game.
SNAP OUT OF IT!!!

Unbelievable. Man, I miss last years team.

Dru's first year. He worked hard. Hopefully in his second year he will learn how to win close games.

Wow, that was hard to watch. SBU shot lights out down the stretch, but DU blew it on offense. I guess SBU deserved to win, they are coached better and took advantage of the stupid things we do on the court. That offense game plan needs thrown in the garbage and develop something new/better this offseason.
Get to 2025-26 season ASAP.

Ouch.That hurt.

C'mon, face it, we were definitely outcoached. We had the superior talent with a superior bench.

Got a bit out coached in the second half. I hope to see all these kids back next year. But we could really use a couple of point guards. Max was great, but they covered him the second half and I don't think Hronski got a 3 shot off in the second half. Great half-time adjustments for the Bonnies. Dinkins rim-out foul shots at the end really hurt us.

Fitting end to an embarrassing season. I really thought we were destined for continued success after last year. Now I'm starting to think it was a flash in the pan.

Absolute collapse. Feels bad.

No “closers” on this team. Really missed Jake to steady the team when things go South. I don’t know what will transpire before next season, but changes are needed.
Hoping to see a team with more offensive potential next season. I can’t wait another 47 years.

I think embarrassing is a bit extreme. We've all seen plenty of embarrassing basketball on the Bluff, I don't think this team fits that description. Disappointing certainly is appropriate though. The talent on the roster indicated way more than 13 wins.
I'm certainly not giving up on Dru, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having some of the same thoughts about squandering our success of last season. He made some great in-game adjustments over the course of the season for a coach of any experience level; but he has a long way to go in endgame situations. Close games are the ones that coaching really matters in, and our performance was terrible. Including today we went 2-12 in games decided by 6 or less.
First year coaches rarely excel. I always go back to Saban's first year at Alabama when they lost to Louisiana-Monroe. It usually is more about setting the course for the future than winning from day one. I thought we'd be further along by this point though.

And yet again, another late game collapse and concerns about end game coaching. I hope DJ learns and improves for next year. It sure seemed our talent level was better than our record. But, at least we are in a better position than some. Rhode Island would kill for our size and Archie Miller still hasn't won a tournament game in 3 years.
On a separate topic, with the trend for college teams hiring GMs today, is that something Duquesne is considering?
