Not surprising, considering the lack of success, and the Urgo suspension during the season. Keep in mind that Kyle Neptune was fired last week at Villanova. Neptune of course had some success at Fordham before jumping ship to Nova. I thought Nova made a mistake hiring Neptune, but most anyone was going to struggle trying to follow Jay Wright at Nova. Nova should be able to attract an impressive Head Coach from a winning program. I haven’t heard anything, but they probably already have their choice, who may still be actively coaching in the Tournament.

I could be wrong, but there hasn’t been the kind of success that I would have expected out of Jay Wright’s coaching tree. Tom Pecora and Pat Chambers did OK, but a lot of misses.
