Micah Mason: 4-9 from the floor, 3-8 from 3 (a bad night shooting for him), 11 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, 0 turnovers. It is nature good and bad times comes in life and you have to overcome difficulties Opponents are pushing Mason 3 or 4 feet beyond the line. JF should look at how the Bonnies create shots for their Canadian three point shooter (I forget his name). Good times come more frequently when you have a more talented roster. When you look at the composition of this roster next year, you have two players who are above-average A-10 players (McKoy and Mason), one player we're guessing will be a plus guy (Robinson), and the rest average to below average talent. If you assume McKoy, Mason and Robinson are locks to start, where is the best opportunity to improve? It's point guard and the swing position. Recruit over Derrick Colter and Jeremiah Jones, assuming you can get a plus to star quality kid at each position, and suddenly you have a deeper bench. And a more talented team on the court.

All other Duquesne guards combined (Jeremiah Jones, Derrick Colter, Tra'Vaughn White, Desmond Ridenour): 5-24, 1-11 from 3, 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 turnovers).
Dominique McKoy: 6-10 from the floor, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 turnovers and a steal.
All other Duquesne forwards combined (Soko, Gill, Watkins, Jerry Jones): 5-16 from the floor, 0-4 from 3, 20 rebounds (Soko had 11), 5 assists (Jerry Jones had all of them - as many as four of our guards combined), 7 trunovers, 2 blocks (Watkins and Jones), 3 steals.
I would say we should run more plays designed to get Mason shots, or get McKoy the ball inside (I think Soko gets his share of chances and leaves points off the board because he's not finishing layups and because he's back to missing most of his FTs), and reduce the brickwork by Colter and Jeremiah Jones, but I know that's not how we play.
