    Dukes 58 Kent State 53

    Nice bounce back win over Kent State who was a slight favorite to win.  Dukes control the cane from mid first quarter on.  7-17 from free throw line kept the margin lower but game never seemed in doubt. 

    Mackenzie Blackford with 19 to lead the Dukes.  Harriet Ford impressive off the bench with 13 points and 10 rebounds.   

    On to Navy Classic. Go Dukes.

    Once again there was no visual running scoreboard with the time, score etc visible on the screen.  Kent State was predicted to win the Mid American Conference so it was a really nice win.  Probably make Thanksgiving a little better for the coaches and players.

    The Weekend Tournament is unusual in that the first round winners and losers do NOT play each other..Duquesne,  Liberty,  Navy, and Manhattan..  Duquesne and Manhattan will not play each other nor will Liberty and Navy.   Last year Liberty made the NCAA.. They were a 13 seed and lost to #4 Kentucky by 1 point.  This year they have already beaten Florida by 15 so that looks like a tough match up.
