Is it just me or is anyone else frustrated with the constant rotating ads on the side panels of the end zone scoreboards? Having the running stats throughout the game was great. Now they only appear on the big screens infrequently. I get the need to generate revenue but having to use my phone to monitor game stats is ridiculous. That feature was one I always liked about the Coop. Maybe I missed something and this is a temporary thing.
Thoughts?

I agree 100%. I also miss the stats.

After I received the announcement about Mike’s Beer Bar Coaches Radio Show, I emailed Phoebe Bowers back about these concerns. Be interesting to see if I hear anything back. Doubt it. I hope others contact Harper and others. I need to do also.

It’s called capitalism. More money benefits the program. MDGA

I Googled MDGA, but none of the answers I found seemed to fit this thread. What does it mean? Am I just to out of touch to keep up with the new lingo?

Thanks. I probably should have put that together on my own. Dependence on GOOGLE is making my brain soft.

The stats broke on the sideboards back in December; they made an announcement over the PA system. It appears that it still hasn't been fixed. GET IT FIXED! In 2026, having stats at your disposal is a requisite part of the game day experience.
In that regard, the sideboards can also be used productively - the stats rotation does not need to be up at all times. 1) Use it for crowd engagement. Flash "De-Fense", or "Make Some Noise" or "We Want Fries" or "Raise the Roof", etc. 2) Use it for advertising for portions of the timeouts - make some money.
I don't know why this stuff is so hard for Duquesne to pull together.

Spot on.

And if I hear one more time the student/band chant “We Want Fries” at the beginning of a one and one situation, I’m going to shoot myself.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that they are there, but…..

If you were paying for advertising you would want your logo on the screen as much as possible. The Program needs the revenue to survive and hopefully improve! I think we need to be realistic. I believe they post the stats from time to time. Perhaps they could post stats at every timeout and of course halftime?

I do believe that there have been NO stats at all on the side board for several games. I have had to use my phone to get the stats that I want to see; i.e. turnovers, offensive rebounds, etc.
From an advertisers perspective, you get what you pay for. And if you do lay out the really big bucks, the name “Levon’s Cartoon Balloons Fieldhouse” would have a nice ring to it.

Totally agree Phoenix
If the program is so desperate for revenue, do something creative. Show the stats much more frequently, have a fund raiser or an appeal, have an interactive player experience (if that’s legal). Don’t minimize the game experience for the few of us willing to come out for the games. Otherwise we might as well have ads where the team running player stats are and constantly on the big screens. THAT would generate a lot of money. I know that’s absurd but so is not fixing the corner panels and constant ads. Go Dukes!
