This is definitely a tough matchup for the Dukes both because it is on the road & Mason's style of play/personnel will be hard for this Dukes team to overcome.
Stealing this one will be a tall task. Doing so would signal the existence of serious positive momentum. Getting handled easily or blown out will let us know what to expect for the rest of the season.
Strong performances from Alex, Dixon, Hugley, & Jake will be needed.

Both Guinyard and Necas are listed as questionable.

The offense has no flow without TG. to be expected. Hall playing awfully. One step forward, one step back with him. Max must be deep in the doghouse not to be playing with these injuries and Hall’s performance. Still a winnable game. Gotta start getting stops again

Did anyone listen to Ray's pregame? Any details about Necas & TG?

I’m guessing it’s illness related but haven’t heard. Also wondering if anyone knows.

Gutsy, heroic win!

What a win!!! Great defending on the road without two huge pieces!

What a great win!! Go Dukes.

How about that? Even with the first half refereeing.

We look like a different team these last two games. Big D and decent O. Going forward, this looks like a team that's going to give the rest of the A-10 some problems. Go Dukes.

What a win. Great momentum heading into the Saturday afternoon home game. A nice fan turnout would be nice,

Huge win!!! Let's peak at the right time. This team has talent and depth.
We need to play the zone as our primary defense. We are much better defensively when in the zone.

Love it!!! Next man up (Williams) was amazing!

That was very impressive for a dozen reasons.
Beat GW on Saturday & this team is in business!

Best win in Dru's two years I think. AWill was awesome. Dixon was frustrated by having to not contest those back door layups with 4 fouls late, but the beast came up big. Steph gave some quality minutes and kudos to coach Dru for sticking with Hall who is only going to get better. DiMichele looking more like his former self tonight. Think we are on the upward swing now. Going to be the toughest of outs come A-10 tourney time if we can continue to improve.

Agree. Starting to gel at the right time. Win Saturday and I think we have a legit shot a double bye.

What a team win that was. And I think we finally found our 3 spot, Mr Alex Williams was hot tonight. And he's always given us solid minutes, but with this performance he needs to start. When everyone is healthy... it should be TG, Jimmy, Alex, Necas, and Dixon. And then Hall, Jake, and Hughley your next three off the bench. I feel bad because Cam seems like a nice kid, but he looks like a lost puppy out there right now. When he came in late in the 2nd and had a turnover and two fouls in less than 2 mins I was livid. And the fact that Max had 0 burn tonight with a short bench... was pretty telling too. Van Bussel also kind of gets me nervous when he's in too. This isn't meant to be a negative post because I'm genuinely amped over this win. But if you know me, I'm all about a tight rotation, and I think we found it based on the outcome of tonight's game. I think we found our footing, and I loved the zone d tonight too. Dru with back to back well coached games as well. Beat GW Sat... and we get a week to prepare for those jagoff Bonnies who I think we'll beat this time around. God I hate them almost as much as Dayton... I'm fired up, let's go Dukes!

Proud of the way Brandon came up big late. It’s probably why Dru plays him over Max. He didn’t quit and his body language was great even when he was 0-7. He didn’t force anything or play frustrated. Then he hit those 2 enormous 3s down the stretch. He misses either of those we probably lose. Especially the last one. Great job Brandon. Hang in there.

I like this post. Alex played in the 4 spot all night. I’m no Xs and Os guy but I’m learning. Can he play that same game in the 3 with Dixon and Necas on the floor? Or will he have different responsibilities? I genuinely don’t know. I do know he is one of the 4 best players on the team though
I’ll be road-tripping to Olean next Saturday. We owe them one!

Von Bussel's play was huge in this game. Kept a few balls alive that went in our possession and was pretty solid defensively. Don't think we win this game without his play that won't show up on the scoreboard. He was solid.

Who would have thought that Brandon Hall would get 37 minutes tonight with 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals. Nothing fancy but chills the team and plays within the game. Much like DiMichele.

Absolutely. Great job by Hall. Didn't see it coming.
