Found this site, it is really cool!!! Has all NCAA team rosters updated with recruits and rankings. The whole website is done in the format of a vintage basketball video game in the 90s which is a nostalgia hit for me as well.
Beyond that though, the info looks super up to date and again the format is very cool.

Thank you. It’s troubling they rank the incoming as the 14th best in the 14 team A10.

I wonder if we are on our way to becoming the next Fordham as far as wins losses in the A10.

That is with us having 4 open roster spots and can change just fyi. Some of these player rankings do also reinforce that we may add 1-2 pretty high end guys to the roster still and that would have an impact.

Lots of guards, lots of question marks. A promising center and an unknown backup. No real power forward, nor backup. Most teams have their rosters set, thus, the pickings are slim. Unless Dru has something up his sleeve—and I hope to God he does—a ranking of 14th seems about right.

I think the 14th rank is a little premature. Need one big to round out the paint. Don't need guards, but just one more overlooked forward or two and DJ will have a pretty good team.

Really appreciate the link 102. Mike, I agree with you 100%. Unless Dtu can pull some last-minute magic to get the kind of qualiy talent we need to fill our roster holes we will be at the bottom of the A10.
Just for the heck of I asked AI to do an analysis of the current ranking of Duquesne, and what Duquesne would need to add to the roster to get to the top four in the league.
I first suggested that we only added a strong power forward and a backup center. The results were that this would move us to the middle of the league but likely not get us to the top four.
I then asked it in addition to these two players what if we added another dynamic playmaker like the kid from Weber State. This was the results:
"Adding a dynamic point guard like Tijan Saine Jr. from Weber State alongside a strong power forward and backup center would dramatically change the calculation, vaulting Duquesne directly into true Atlantic 10 Top 4 contention (likely ranking 3rd to 5th place).
By signing Saine, the strong power forward, and the backup center, Duquesne utilizes 3 of their 4 open spots. Filling 14 out of 15 total scholarship slots with high-impact talent minimizes the "empty spot penalty," allowing the platform's power ratings to reflect their true competitive ceiling."
I then asked what the probability of getting these types of players late in the recruiting cycle. The response I received was as follows:
Play makimg G like Saime < 20%
Stong PF < 50%
Backup C 80%
Mike as you pointed out unless Dru has something hidden up his sleeves bottom half seem to fit.
