Not having seen the new guys play but judging from prior stats I am a bit Leary on how our 3 pt shooting works out this year thus I would like to see us sign a big prefer a PF who can shoot a high percentage there to draw opposing defenses out to spread our offense out.
Overall we are close if not already there to equal last years team. Guess that’s my early prediction. Who amongst these guys are go to crunch time give me the ball men?
Will be interesting to see who is the next signee if any.

Looking for any information about the final roster. I’m questioning 3 players who are listed as “committed”. If you look at the recent X posts and videos, I don’t believe any of these three are seen.

1) Josh Smith is one of two transfers that didn’t have a post that he’s “signed”.
2) Zoje Owinje is not in the post showing the new freshmen.
3) Ege Demir also not shown as “signed”.

Again, I don’t see any of these three is the photo’s or video’s. Can anyone confirm their status?

Now that roster is set, What is everyone's perspective on the starting 5? I see:
PG: Guinyard (Lawson or Williams really need to step into this back-up role)
SG: Pasha (DiMichele, Smith, & Hall off bench) 
SF: Berman
PF: Konan (Olawoniyi & Jellum) (My fear is that we are missing a one more big, Jellum could be the key)
C: Demir (If he somehow doesn't show up, is there a world where Dave is able to come back?)
 

TG, Pasha, Berman, Olowoniyi and Demir.    Jellum better be ready to play 20 minutes a game.

I haven’t seen a post that Zoje Owinje is “signed”. He was not in the picture posted when they announced the incoming freshman. Can anyone confirm, with certainty, that he’s on scholarship and with the team? If not, that would leave one spot open for Dave Dixon.

My understanding of the rule is that it really doesn't matter if a player is a walk-on he counts towards the hard 15 player roster limit. The only players that don't count are those walk-ons who were on the team before 2024.

Unless I am wrong about this rule,  we are now at the maximum roster limit.

StillatShales, was your comment just wishful thinking or do you have reason to believe we may be signing another “former player”?

BTW, I lived right behind Shales back door when I was at Duquesne so know the place well..

Ok, looking back two years, it could be Dixon, Rozier, Barre or Hronsky. I think all are 4 year guys.

The only one I'd be interested in coming back off of that list is Dixon. Maybe Rozier as a bench player and locker room leader.
