Offline Cum Posey Jr. was a very impressive man, but Cum Posey Sr. was even more impressive than his son. Thanks for posting the article. I did not know there was a black professional basketball league. All of the press in Pittsburgh has always been about the baseball league. Great article. I learned about Captain Posey some years ago when reading about his son. I was disappointed that he wasn't mentioned in the History Channel's Men Who Built America series when they examined Andrew Carnegie.
