Of course this type of stuff has been going on forever. It was back in the 50's when lengendary street fighter Joey Diven took on several members of the Pitt football team behind the Strand in Oakland, and won. Booze, youth, and testosterone have always been a volatile mix. Of course, when you get caught misbehaving, there is a price to pay. i was most concerned by the final words in the blurb about the incident: "Laundry money" day was always a good day to be at the Van Braam, Mike. I found that my friends on the basketball team were usually pretty generous when it came to making sure that their buddies were able to have clean clothes. I also tried to make it a point to visit the Van Braam when certain players told me they would be going to Mossie's house for dinner. Don't forget Sandroni's. $1.50 a pitcher when I was there. Woohooo. The first place I remember buying beer in Pittsburgh was the Towers dorm room of two enterprising fifth year Pharmacy students named Huck and Hoe. No IDs, no cops, no questions, just fairly priced six packs and individual cans and bottles of "arncity." Jones sprinted to a nearby parking lot where another officer apprehended him and Mason, who was jogging behind him.
i mean seriously, Jogging away from the police!
No wonder we cant put a winner out on the court. You never hear about this stuff at pitt or kentucky or unc, because those guys are fast enough and smart enough to RUN away from the cops...
I sure do hope micah is going to class, as he will have a very short criminal career!

I hope the good officer wasn't 250 lbs and still able to nab Jones. :-)
