    Trib Review Athlete Of The Week

    Chassidy Omigrosso the player from Blackhawk who signed with Duquesne was the Tribune Review's Athlete of the Week - They mentioned she recently hit the 2,000 point mark (37th player all time from the WPIAL to do so) and she's had some fairly high scoring games since then.  Since Blackhawk looks capable of making runs at both the WPIAL and State playoffs could get interesting in how high she could get on the scoring list.

    There were other impressive performances from another of Duquesne's signed recruits for 2015.  6' 1" Paige Cannon lit it up for her team, Johnstown High School, OH, with 43 points, 8 blocked shots, 5 assists, and 3 steels against Licking Valley on 12/20/14 and earned the Athlete of the Week award from the Columbus Dispatch: http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/sports/2014/12/27/hs-aths-12-27-art-gr5volmf-1.html
    She also scored 43 points in the following game against Danville on 12/29/14.  Her team is now 6-2 (5-1).
